Among all the services, find NVIDIA Display Driver Service and right-click to open its properties. Then type msc into the dialogue box and click OK.
I bet a INF modification could easily fix that. To access services, press Windows + R and type services. Though considering the Pentium chips with HD Graphics 2000/3000 are supported, but the second-gen Core chips with the same integrated graphics isn't. :laugh:Įdit: Looks like Intel also struck off the second-gen Core chips from the supported list for Windows 8.1 drivers.

Thanks for the link, but (as explained below) my laptop's CPU isn't part of that list. Right-click Intel® Display Audio or Intel High Definition Audio and select Update driver.
